The council discussed department reports, including the police department's increased foot patrols and implementation of new logs, and the fire department's progress on a new ordinance for accidental false alarms. The Borough Manager reported on a state-awarded grant for traffic signal upgrades on Main Street. New business included the reallocation of funds in the sewer capital replacement fund to replace a wet well pump and grit well blower instead of a deferred aeration diffuser project, as well as the approval of billing for sewage transferred through the system.
