Ivy Preparatory Academy School Improvement Procedures
Ivy Preparatory Academy's school improvement procedures are guided by Georgia's System of Continuous Improvement, focusing on enhancing educational outcomes for all students. The process involves a comprehensive needs assessment (CNA) using quantitative and qualitative data to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. A District Improvement Plan (DIP) is then developed with SMART goals, evidence-based strategies, and resource allocation. Implementation includes professional development, monitoring, and adjustments based on feedback and data. Evaluation and reflection involve data collection, stakeholder feedback, and review to identify areas for improvement. Successful strategies are sustained and scaled up, with continuous improvement cycles and transparent documentation. The plan also considers funding from federal programs (Title I, Title II, Title IV, and IDEA) to support various initiatives, including closing achievement gaps, improving instruction, and enriching student learning. Community partnerships are leveraged to enhance educational opportunities. Ongoing feedback is solicited from stakeholders to inform improvements and ensure the effective use of resources.
