Board of Education of the Solana Beach School District Board Meeting Minutes
The Board adopted Science Instructional Materials for grades K-6 and accepted donations. Several resolutions were passed regarding the delegation of authority for public works, the levying of special taxes for various community facilities districts, and the designation of authorized agents for the 2026-27 fiscal year. The Board approved the elimination of a classified position, multiple public works contracts for school site improvements and maintenance, and the partial award of food service contracts for the 2026-27 school year. Additionally, the Board declared an RFP for pizza non-responsive, approved various Memorandums of Understanding with the local teachers' association, adopted the 2027-28 student calendar, and approved several revised job descriptions.
