Portage County Canvass Board Minutes
The Portage County Board of Canvassers convened to conduct the canvass for the February 20, 2024, Spring Primary election. The board reviewed all required materials from reporting units, including inspectors' statements, poll books, and sealed ballot bags. The canvass involved reviewing reporting unit results and the results reported on Election Night. Specific findings included a discrepancy in the Village of Plover Wards 1 & 2, where the number of ballots on DS200 tapes exceeded the number of voters on the poll book by one, though the total for the polling place matched overall. The board verified all votes using the WEC Canvass system and signed the summary statement and certification.
