Fort Worth Independent School District District Plan 2026-2030
This district plan outlines a comprehensive strategy to reduce and ultimately eliminate the number of uncertified teachers in foundation curriculum courses by the 2029-2030 school year. The plan focuses on strategic partnerships with Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), including GoTeach / Region 11 Education Service Center, to provide individualized certification support. Key initiatives include developing recruitment pipelines such as a Paraprofessional-to-Teacher program, a Return-to-Teaching initiative, and a CTE Grow-Your-Own pathway. The strategy also incorporates quarterly certification audits, pre-screening of new hires, certification stipends and testing support, campus-level support, and new-teacher support cohorts, aiming for full compliance with HB 2.
