BoardMontclair Historic Preservation Commission Minutes
The Commission reviewed multiple applications for exterior alterations, including storefront modifications, signage installations, and awning replacements for local businesses such as CVS, Sahana Spa, and Tisha Shoes. Several projects were approved, some with conditions. The Commission also adopted memorializing resolutions for five separate applications and heard public comments concerning the potential historic landmark nomination of a property on Upper Mountain Road. Furthermore, the Commission discussed and established a standardized process for handling 'In Kind' replacement requests.
