City of Paris Planning Commission Planning Commission Meeting
The commission held a public hearing regarding proposed amendments to the zoning code and specific plans to establish new locational standards for fueling service stations citywide. The proposed regulations aim to limit service stations to a maximum of two per intersection and establish a 200-foot buffer requirement between new stations and residentially zoned properties. Commissioners discussed the scope of these provisions, clarifying their application to new project applications, the distinction between residentially zoned versus non-conforming properties, and how these new standards interact with existing alcohol-related requirements.
