The Board discussed and approved various items including the Ag Expo Expansion project, road maintenance agreements, gravel and scoria stockpile bids, and the release of a radio tower RFP. The Board addressed personnel matters, such as position backfills and reclassifications, and approved budget amendments. Additionally, information regarding the CDL program, housing programs, and the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library opening was presented. The Board also entered into an executive session regarding a specific legal matter.

The board discussed and approved the purchase of new tables and chairs for the children's section, as well as the purchase and installation of blinds for the Sanford Room and the main office. Additionally, the board approved a library closure to facilitate staff attendance at the Summer Reading Program Kickoff. The session also included discussions regarding the Request for Reconsideration Form and the Library Board Trustee Application.

The board discussed funding requests for the Rough Rider Center and KidStop, including the release of 2026 budget funds and allocations for 2027. A proposal for a Luxedo projection mapping system at the Rough Rider Center was reviewed and approved for submission to the county commission.
