The pre-bid meeting covered the roof replacement project for Buildings O and P. Discussions included bidding requirements, the submission process for substitutions, insurance and bonding stipulations, and the scope of work for each building, which includes roof deck repairs, insulation systems, and roofing materials. Proposers were advised on the submission of written questions, the issuance of addenda, and the consequences of submitting non-responsive or late bids.

The ceremony focused on celebrating the upcoming graduation of high school seniors and facilitating their transition to college. Each student was provided with a letter of provisional acceptance to the Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. The event emphasized the importance of planning for post-secondary education and highlighted the unique initiative that ensures students from local high schools have a pathway for college admission.
