The meeting commenced with the reorganization of the Planning Commission, resulting in the unanimous appointment of Joseph Conroy as Chair and Scott McBurney as Vice Chair. Under new business, the Commission reviewed proposed changes to the Landscape Ordinance, focusing on the function of plants rather than just piece counts, and recommended shortening the inspection window to Mid-May through Mid-October and including additional species. Minor changes to the Wireless Communication Ordinance were also recommended for approval. Finally, the Commission began reviewing the Sign Ordinance, which is anticipated to be a multi-month process, and were tasked with identifying missing sign types.
