The Routt County Master Plan, adopted in August 2022, serves as a long-range guide for the county's future. It aims to protect open spaces, forests, rivers, lakes, and wildlife; conserve rural, western, agricultural heritage; direct growth to municipalities and targeted areas; and provide equitable mobility options. The plan's key elements include growth, land use, infrastructure, historic and cultural resources, housing, economy, mobility, transportation, recreation, tourism, open space, agriculture, sustainability, climate action, natural resources, hazards, public health, and equity.

This Community Health Assessment for Routt County Public Health, conducted from March 2022 to February 2023, provides a foundational analysis for future public health improvement planning. It details a comprehensive process that included quantitative and qualitative data collection, a capacity assessment, and a final prioritization process. The key health issues identified as priorities are adult behavioral health (mental health and substance use), youth behavioral health (mental health and substance use), healthy housing, and access to healthy and affordable food. These findings are intended to guide the development of a Public Health Improvement Plan to address these issues over the next five years.

The meeting agenda includes the approval of accounts payable, manual warrants, and payroll. Consent agenda items involve the consolidation, zone change, and vacation for Sparrow's Perch, and the authorization for the Chair to sign liquor license renewals for Egeria Park Liquor. The Board will also consider the Peabody Sage Creek Mine and Coal Haul special use permit renewal, the authorization of a BLM lease renewal at King Mountain Tower site, and review hearing officer recommendations for property tax abatement.

The Planning Commission meeting agenda includes a training workshop regarding roles and responsibilities for county boards and commissions. Other items for consideration include a lot consolidation and utility easement vacation for Steamboat Pines Filing No. 1 and a review of the Unified Development Code changes. The administrator will also provide a report on future agendas and recent Board of County Commissioner decisions.

The meeting agenda focuses on organizational updates including airport capital and infrastructure progress, a budget overview, and air service updates. The board will review committee reports from the marketing and outreach and finance committees, alongside management updates for regional airport operations. The meeting also includes a discussion regarding the location and format for the subsequent session.
