The Architectural Review Board conducted a review of several residential and commercial projects. A consent agenda was utilized to approve various improvements including a detached pavilion, pool pavilions, fireplace additions, room additions, a screen porch, a 2nd story deck, and revisions to a new residence. Individual reviews were conducted for a 3-seasons room renovation, which received conditional approval, and a deck/3-seasons room replacement, which was continued for plan revisions. Additionally, a patio cover application was continued due to lack of representation, and the new administration building for the Ladue School District was reviewed.

The Architectural Review Board held a work session to review design adjustments for a proposed mixed-use multi-family building at the corner of Old Warson and McKnight Road. Discussions focused on addressing specific conditions of a previous approval, including building parapet design, exterior material palette simplification, masonry detailing, screening of rooftop mechanical equipment, courtyard design, and patio surfacing. Several items related to architectural detailing, lighting, and site plan specifications remained unaddressed, and the board recommended a follow-up work session once the applicants have prepared comprehensive solutions for these outstanding requirements.

The meeting will include a public forum and the consideration of a petition submitted by George Stock for Rock Hill Quarries regarding requested relief from the requirements of Ladue Ordinance 2103, Section F (1), concerning an increase in the velocity of Deer Creek. The board may also move to an executive session to discuss matters related to litigation, legal actions, or communications from the City Attorney.

The commission convened to discuss a request for a General Development Plan for a Planned Development District located at the Rock Hill Quarries property. The proposed project includes a mixed-use development consisting of 235 residential apartments, 9,000 square feet of commercial space, structured parking, and 42 single-family residential lots. The meeting also addressed the potential for an executive session regarding litigation, legal actions, or communications from the City Attorney.

The agenda includes presentations recognizing staff service and an insurance committee report regarding property, casualty, and workers' compensation coverage. Public hearings are scheduled for zoning ordinance amendments related to recreational marijuana facilities, a special use permit for temporary field lighting for a football game, and the construction of a new school administration building. New business items cover pension plan adoptions for fire and police departments, a contract amendment for housing municipal inmates, and various resolutions concerning flood mitigation policies, inter-agency agreements for stormwater programs, municipal park grant funding, and engineering consultant services for path improvements. Additionally, the meeting will include departmental, officer, and committee reports, as well as potential executive sessions to discuss legal, personnel, or contract matters.
