The Board discussed the appointment of a new Director, approved audited financial statements for the fiscal year, and appointed auditors for the upcoming year. Updates were provided on the Emergency Response Fund and current year-to-date financial results. Additionally, the Board reviewed preparations for an upcoming golf tournament, discussed the creation of a new foundation logo, evaluated the procurement of a square machine for processing payments, and brainstormed internal and external promotional strategies for the foundation. It was also decided that future meetings will be held in a hybrid format.

The 2024-2025 Student Achievement Plan for Algonquin and Lakeshore CDSB outlines strategic goals across three primary pillars: Achievement of Learning Outcomes in Core Academic Skills, Preparation of Students for Future Success, and Student Engagement & Well-Being.
