Strategic Plan
This strategic development plan aims to reinforce institutional foundations and guide future endeavors, serving as a central reference for decision-making and the pursuit of excellence. The plan outlines five strategic goals: establishing mechanisms for new academic programs and strengthening current ones, increasing research activities in basic, clinical, and behavioral sciences, expanding clinical services and professional development, strengthening student services to foster an optimal learning environment, and maximizing technology for institutional efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The overarching vision is to prepare high-quality, compassionate health professionals who promote healthy lifestyles, provide excellent service with ethical values, and contribute to improving the quality of life in the Puerto Rican community.
