Over the next five years, NBCC aims to welcome more learners and enhance their experience through flexible educational programming responsive to New Brunswick's social and economic needs. Key strategies include investing in priority areas to improve productivity, sustainability, and program delivery, responding to diverse learner needs through partnerships, and aligning talents and resources to build capacity. From 2017 to 2019, the plan prioritizes understanding and reducing barriers to post-secondary education, enhancing support services, increasing transitional support, and fostering partnerships with indigenous communities.

This Research Data Management (RDM) Institutional Strategy for NBCC aims to enhance the institution's capacity to support researchers and implement responsible RDM practices, ensuring adherence to the Tri-Agency's RDM policy. Key strategic areas include conducting data surveys, developing formatting standards, establishing procedures for data safeguarding and sharing, reviewing policies for data access and reuse, and planning for data archiving and preservation. The strategy emphasizes supporting FAIR principles, encompassing all NBCC researchers, and integrating ethical and Indigenous data considerations. Oversight is provided by the College Office of Research Enterprise and the Data and Information Governance Committee, with annual updates, to promote research rigor, efficiency, collaboration, and expanded impact.

The 'Together We Rise' strategic plan outlines New Brunswick Community College's vision to transform lives and communities. It focuses on three key goals: increasing learner enrollment to over 10,000 by 2022 through inclusive and flexible approaches; enhancing the 'NBCC advantage' by preparing learners for employment, leadership, lifelong learning, and entrepreneurship, fostering a sense of belonging; and building organizational capacity through employee development, continuous improvement, and strengthened partnerships.
