The court reviewed the Treasurer's report regarding General Fund balances and expenditures. A proclamation was read to designate March as "Be a Children's Champion" month. Legislative actions included the first reading of an ordinance concerning the animal shelter and the approval of agreements with Shelter Buddy and the Home Again program. Additionally, the court approved an inter-entity agreement for Battlefield Estates, a budget amendment for the County Clerk, the reappointment of a member to the Planning Commission, and the bid award for EOC building amplifiers. Personnel actions included hiring staff for the Battlefield Golf Course, an administrative assistant for the Planning Department, and a new firefighter. The session concluded with reports from the Judge and various magistrates regarding local projects, road maintenance, and state-level legislative updates.

The court held a remembrance for Pearl Harbor and discussed a state-wide initiative for memorial signs honoring Vietnam War casualties. Legislative actions included the second reading and adoption of a land use ordinance for a property on Irvine Road and the authorization of an aerial mapping contract with Pictometry International. The court approved the Sheriff's annual budget and made several appointments to the Planning Commission, Airport Board, and the Bluegrass Area Development District. The meeting also included reports on community holiday events, recognitions for road department staff accomplishments, updates on park facility operations, and a discussion regarding potential funding for airport design plans.
