Wilson County Board of Commissioners Meeting Recap

The board approved the reappointment of the Tax Administrator for a two-year term and authorized the purchase of a new front-load dumpster truck. A multi-year contract was finalized with Bi-Tek, LLC to implement an integrated Tax Office Software System covering appraisal, land records, billing, and collections. Additionally, the board authorized the purchase of land along Fish Pond Road for a new pump station to improve water system pressure and passed a resolution to decline the first rights of purchase for the surplus Winsted Elementary School property.
