The workshop agenda includes reports and updates from various County offices, Capital Improvement Project updates, and discussions on Interlocal Agreements with cities regarding platting approval in the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction. Additionally, the agenda covers medical and dental coverages for full-time employees, agreements with cities for inmate housing and animal control, an update from the Tax Appraisal District, and a status report on the Leon River Watershed Project and the NRS Project, including potential budget implications.

The workshop agenda includes departmental updates, capital improvement project reports, and commissioner submissions. Specific topics for discussion involve an amendment to a tax abatement agreement, compliance with the Local Government Records Act, legislative priorities for the 90th Texas Legislative Session, and a request for unclaimed property capital credits. Additionally, the court will conduct departmental budget presentations, including the Auditor's Office, County Clerk, Pretrial Services, and Elections. The session also features closed sessions for personnel evaluations and the review of Fire Marshal applications.

The Bell County Thoroughfare Plan is a long-range transportation framework designed to guide the development of the county's transportation system. It prioritizes enhancing regional mobility, improving roadway safety with a Vision Zero target, expanding multimodal transportation choices and connections, ensuring community-driven solutions, and maintaining sustainable infrastructure. The plan also focuses on promoting quality of place and securing diverse funding for implementation, ultimately addressing current and future mobility needs and managing growth within the county.

The Commissioners Court workshop session will cover a wide range of topics including construction status and maintenance updates, project management priorities, Juvenile Probation Department matters, Engineering Office and Road & Bridge Department updates, BellNET meeting review, Technology Services/Communications Center updates, and financial information such as budget planning and tax abatement policies. Additional discussions will address social services updates, personnel and human resources, EXPO Center modifications, emergency management, building and grounds updates, election/precinct issues, legislative sessions, open records requests, and potential litigation issues.

The Court addressed several agenda items, including renewal options for fiber installation and maintenance services, transportation of human remains, PennzSuppress D, and aggregate materials. They also discussed the disposal of IT equipment, a Memorandum of Understanding with Texas A&M AgriLife, and reviewed claims, accounts payable, payroll, restitution, and juror pay. Additionally, the court considered the status of an order restricting outdoor burning but took no action.
