Emu Strategic Plan 2023-2028
The EMU Strategic Plan 2023-2028 focuses on four pathways: Access, Achievement, Action, and Alignment. Access aims to expand reach and increase enrollment by increasing affordability, enhancing marketing, improving facilities, and offering desirable academic and co-curricular opportunities. Achievement focuses on creating an inclusive community supporting student success through faculty/staff development, adaptive academic and social support, a healthy campus culture, collaborative learning, and expanded career services. Action aims to graduate Anabaptist-inspired agents of change by making EMU's values explicit in curricula, aligning internal and external marketing, emphasizing values-centered learning experiences, and strengthening sustainability initiatives. Alignment focuses on strategic investments in people, facilities, and financial sustainability through reviewing positions, updating compensation, investing in employee development, evaluating facilities, and growing revenue. The overall goal is to prepare unifying leaders equipped with intercultural competence, oriented toward peace and justice, and rooted in an active faith.
