The agenda includes the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Hope School Committee, adjustments to the agenda, and public comment. It also covers the possible signing of AP or Payroll warrants, approval of meeting minutes, and nominations for teaching positions and a stipend appointment for the Athletic Coordinator. Committee sign-ups, updates on the Roof and Window Project, finances, and an audit are also on the agenda. Additional items include the appointment of a school physician, notification of an attendance coordinator for truancy, discussion of School Committee Goals, announcement of the MSMA Fall Conference, and reports from the Superintendent and Principal. The Hope School Committee meeting included discussions on the FY 23 audit review, an update on EMC evaluation, and the selection and approval of a Snow Plow Bid for the FY2025-26 school year. The September Budget to Actuals was reviewed, along with the Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and Maine Through Year State Testing Results for FY25. The Hope Select Board held a meeting that included a presentation by Rubb Fabric Buildings. The Board convened as the Board of Assessors to approve the 2025 Municipal Valuation Return and grant several abatements. The Board also approved the October 14th Select Board minutes with edits and approved the Treasurers and Payroll Warrants. Additionally, the Hope Non-CDL Drug/Alcohol Testing Policy was approved, and the confirmation of several Seasonal Truck Driver/Laborer positions. There were discussions regarding the HES building, ambulance service, and the First Responder Program. The Select Board discussed a proposal to write a letter in protest of the requirement of general assistance for every municipality.

New business included a Road Commissioner Update, discussion of an Alcohol & Drug Test Policy, amendments to consent agreements, and the adoption of 2025 General Assistance Maximum Levels of Assistance Appendices. Additionally, the Town Administrator's Report was reviewed.
