BoardWaukee Community School District Board Of Education Regular Meeting Minutes
The board approved various educational standards including those for German, Spanish, 9-12th Grade Publications, Algebra 1, Geometry, and K-12th Grade Art. Policy updates were addressed, including the first and second readings of numerous policies and the approval of student handbooks for the 2026-2027 academic year. The board also approved new staffing positions for extracurricular activities and operations. Furthermore, the board authorized plans for the Maple Grove Elementary cooling system replacement and several change orders for various district infrastructure projects. Finally, the 2026-2027 Emergency Operations Plan was adopted following a closed session discussion.
