This Comprehensive Plan serves as a roadmap for the Butler County, Nebraska Rural Community, outlining Planning, Preservation, and Development Initiatives. The plan focuses on three primary categories: Population, Plan Participation & Implementation; Preservation of Existing Conditions; and Future Development & Planning Practices. Its purpose is to create a balance between land use preservation and development practices to ensure a high quality of life, economic prosperity, health, safety, and general welfare for residents, while promoting best practices for agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial, public/quasi-public, and land/water conservation needs through 2036.
