NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Borough of Tinton Falls is requesting sealed proposals for the following: #12-27 Servicing & Maintenance of Sewer System. Proposal packages may be obtained as PDF files from the Borough's website (click on Departments, Finance & Purchasing, then RFP's). DATE OF RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES NEEDED RFP #12-27 PROFESSIONAL SERVICING & MAINTENANCE OF SEWER SYSTEM The Borough of Tinton Falls is requesting qualifications for the maintenance and servicing of the sewer system. This is a brief description of some of the requirements for the above services: - NJDEP license is required. - Provide labor and materials needed for the servicing of day-to-day routine operation of the system, including 17 pump stations. - Test run ten (10) standby generators and (2) portable generators on a weekly basis following all DEP and EPA air quality standards and report any problems immediately. - Daily operational checks of electrical and mechanical parts. - Daily cleaning of floats, bar screens, trash baskets and hose down of wet wells. - Provide routine day to day preventative maintenance, maintaining log books at each location. - Provide preventative maintenance schedules to the Borough as well as quarterly reports with updates on the system. - Maintain grounds inside the fenced area and all interior buildings. - Provide 24-hour emergency call-out response 7 days a week. - Supervise contractors providing work on stations upon request. - Prepare operational reports and log books and submit end of year report including recommendations if any. - Act as Borough representative for all State questions and issues including submittal of all State and Federal reports required. - Test and maintain alarm auto-dialers. - Provide all sampling for wastewater required by NJDEP and Neptune Sewer Authority permit. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - Required laboratory analysis for the Jumping Brook Pump Station quarterly. - Monthly flow meter readings at Seabrook, Atria, Hovtown and Jumping Brook pump stations. PUMP STATIONS TO DATE ARE: Hance Avenue; Jumping Brook; Nutmeg Court; Riveredge Drive; Shark River Road/Enclave; Squankum Road; Wardell Road/Wyncrest; Woodland Manor; Atchison Pavilions; Hovtown; Leland Terrace; Park Place/Heritage; Sam Drive; Shrewsbury Avenue; Tinton Avenue; Water Street/Rutgers Drive; Stavbro Lane. Submissions must include required statutory forms and certifications (affirmative action documentation, stockholder disclosure, non-collusion affidavit, Business Registration Certificate) and other required enclosures as specified in the RFP.
