The Faculty Council meeting agenda covered the presentation of the Faculty Council Vision for 2025-2026. Specific attention was given to the Faculty Development Leave Grant, noting six vacancies on the committee and reminding faculty that applications are due February 1st. New Business included discussions on the Annual TCCTA Faculty Salary Survey, Ways and Means Committee Annual Faculty Survey, Tenure Policy Revisions, and Purchasing Cards and Plaques.

The agenda includes consideration of the FY 2025-2026 Budget, a public hearing on the 2025 Temple College Tax Rate, and a resolution to set the tax rate. Also to be discussed are amendments to the FY 2024 Budget and authorized representatives for PNC Bank and Tex Pool. Purchases of HVAC equipment and services, Roots integrated robotics training equipment, and a Desktop Metal Studio Series 2 - 3D Metallic Printer are up for consideration, along with Dell Technologies laptops. The meeting will also cover faculty title changes, a Faculty Council Report, and reports from the Provost and Vice Presidents. The Temple College Board of Trustees convened to discuss and act on several key items. These included approving faculty and professional staff contracts for the 2025-2026 school year, reviewing and approving monthly investment and budget reports, and considering the purchase of semiconductor training equipment for the Temple College Taylor Campus. The board also discussed the purchase of a photolithography unit and in-person instruction hours for the robotics program, both aimed at enhancing the college's semiconductor and manufacturing training capabilities. Additionally, they considered purchasing machine trending and 3-D vision stations for the Roots Robotic Controlled Automated Manufacturing System.

The agenda includes consideration of various items such as the appointment of full-time professional staff and adjunct faculty, monthly investment reports, budget summary reports, and the review and re-adoption of Temple College's Investment Policy. The board will also discuss disbursements for May 2025, recognize outstanding community members, and receive the President's Report along with reports from the Faculty Council, Provost-Academic Affairs and Student Services, and the Finance department.
