Altoona-Midway Usd 387 Board Of Education Regular Board Meeting
The meeting included reports from the Elementary and MS/HS principals on end-of-year activities, student assessments, and graduation preparations. A presentation was made regarding a 5th-grade girls' sports proposal due to a lack of athletes at the junior high level. The Superintendent provided updates on new policies and handbook changes. Donations were formally accepted for the FFA program and employee awards. Additional items included a library grant update, approval for a senior trip, and a review of plans for the FCCLA Nationals. The board also held an executive session regarding non-elected personnel and addressed supplemental contracts for coaches and sponsors.
