Priorities Committee Meeting Minutes
The Committee held a meeting to discuss several agenda items, including a functional review of Recreation, Parks and Culture and a strategic update on corporate security. The Committee reviewed a post-event report for the 2026 Alberta Summer Games and received an introduction to the Northeast and Southeast Sherwood Park Area Concept Plan projects. Additionally, the Committee discussed a proposal for aligning winter sidewalk maintenance practices, received updates on the Waste Management Roadmap and Commercial Waste Diversion Strategy, and reviewed the Family and Community Services department's response to a recent internal review. A public open house session was also held to address drainage issues, and councillors provided activity updates.
