The commissioners reviewed the progress of the owner-occupied rehab grant program, including status reports on completed roof and HVAC replacements and new bid recommendations. An ADA compliance report was presented, resulting in the adoption of a resolution to appoint an ADA and Title VI coordinator and the implementation of complaint procedures. The board discussed the long-term recovery group and determined that the county should not act as the fiscal agent or manager for the group's operations. The commissioners also addressed support resources for substantial damage documentation and approved three ordinances to extend local emergency disaster declarations. A proposal to delegate signing authority for future emergency extensions was discussed but ultimately declined by the board to ensure continued direct oversight by the commissioners.
