North Tahoe Fire Protection District Regular Meeting Minutes
The Board meeting included a presentation on federal legislative efforts and advocacy updates by a consultant, as well as an overview of the Placer Local Agency Formation Commission and the incorporation process for the Town of North Tahoe. A public hearing was held resulting in the adoption of a resolution to increase rates for ambulance services. The Board authorized the Fire Chief to enter into an MOU for fire prevention work and a cost-sharing agreement for a fiscal study regarding potential annexation with the Olympic Valley Public Service District. Additionally, the Board adopted resolutions for election services in two counties, tax collection services, and an updated investment policy. A closed session was held to discuss exposure to litigation.
