Cotulla Independent School District Regular Meeting Minutes
The board meeting included the recognition of teachers under the Teacher Incentive Allotment and student achievements in academics, theater, and athletics. The board conducted the oath of office for trustees and reorganized the board officers. Several administrative reports were reviewed, including superintendent updates, safety and security reports, appraisal district data, tax collection reports, construction updates, child nutrition, student enrollment, and financial reports. The board approved donations, granted superintendent hiring authority, and accepted an agreement for an Adult Education and Literacy Program. Additionally, the board approved several technology and support purchases, an Optional School Flex Day Program, and dual credit and early college high school partnerships. During the closed session, the board discussed personnel matters, position repurposing, board roles, and the superintendent's evaluation, subsequently approving personnel appointments, resignations, and retirements in open session.
