The commission approved the final plat for Rock First Addition to Linn County. Discussions were held on updates to the 2014 Zoning Code chapter 165 regarding fencing, including allowed materials, location of property pins, and requirements for corner lots and opaque fences. The commission also discussed swimming pool fencing requirements and floodplain fencing, recommending changes to align with Linn County regulations. The Denison Bottoms Second Addition plat was tabled due to unclear purpose, improper labeling, and undocumented access.

The commission received an update on the city's comprehensive plan, noting the need for updated plans to address changes over the last ten years, particularly regarding traffic flow, sewer, and water infrastructure. A pre-annexation agreement with Kerkman Homes was reviewed and recommended for approval by the council. The sale and plat of survey 2422 were also approved. Later meetings reviewed chapters 3 and 4 of the comprehensive plan, focusing on community character, land use, housing needs, parks and recreation, and transportation. A final plat for Cress Addition was approved contingent on receiving a corrected plat. A resolution was approved for Attwood Estates First Addition Final Plat. An address was assigned to Kerkman Homes annexation property. A rezoning request for two parcels within Fross Park and the Cemetery was approved, changing the zoning from AG to Rl.

The commission discussed and approved the Dundee Fourth Addition Final Plat. This was a cleanup matter addressing an improper property split that did not meet Linn County's minimum acreage requirement.

The commission meeting addressed several key issues. Discussion included confirmation of council approval for wastewater sewer plant drive access on Grain Lane, ensuring the property line remains in the middle of the road. The commission approved a Resolution to approve the Plat of Survey for a portion of Grain Lane 2650 Parcel A. A motion was made for council recommendation to approve the Final Plat of Tovstanovsky First Addition, with a change to include the City of Center Point. Finally, the commission approved a recommendation to the council to vacate a portion of the street or right of way on Grain Lane.

The board granted a 4-foot variance on side yard setbacks for a home addition at 101 Green Street to improve livability and safety. Discussion also covered the terms of Board of Adjustment members and the process for appointing a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
