This Safety Action Plan aims to eliminate all traffic fatalities and serious injuries on the US 212 Corridor by adopting the Vision Zero approach. The plan is built upon the five Es: engineering, education, encouragement, evaluation, and enforcement. The primary objective is to achieve a 70 percent decline in roadway fatalities and serious injuries on US 212 by 2030, with the ultimate goal of zero roadway fatalities and serious injuries.
