The meeting featured a presentation on current trends in recruitment marketing and labor market data. Key discussion topics included the decline in overall hiring and job openings in the US, the impact of AI on application volumes, and shifting strategies for sponsored job advertising. Participants explored why costs per click for job ads increased despite a softening labor market, attributing the trend to concentrated spending on hard-to-fill roles such as healthcare and technical positions versus a shift to organic channels for easily filled occupations.
