The board discussed and adopted a bond resolution to increase funding for the Rooster River flood mitigation project by approximately 2.45 million dollars, primarily to support the upcoming construction of detention ponds at the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course and Tungsten Hill Park. Additionally, the board approved a request to transfer funds from the assessor fee and professional services account to the conservation department capital outlay to cover the costs of purchasing a new boat for the town's conservation crew, replacing a vessel that is no longer operational.
