Jo Daviess County Finance, Tax, & Budgets Committee Meeting Minutes
The committee reviewed strategic goals and the status of the Capital Improvement Plan. They received updates on FY2027 budget preparation, including revenue estimates and operational target restorations. Several actions were taken, including recommending the dissolution of the Election Equipment Upgrade Fund, renewal of various employee benefit contracts (dental, accident, critical illness, and hospitalization), and approval of health insurance plan renewals with premium increases. Additionally, the committee established employer HSA contribution amounts, updated the Premium Allocation Policy, and reaffirmed the Alternative Insurance Assistance and Voluntary Employee Furlough Program policies.
