Byron Center Charter School Board Meeting Minutes
The board meeting included acknowledgments of the Parent Teacher Organization's recent contributions to staff appreciation and the annual Walkathon. The School Leader's Report featured a presentation on a proposed summer 2025 Costa Rica trip for Spanish students, as well as general updates regarding school programs, testing, personnel, salary and benefits, and the Chief Administrative Officer transition. The financial report covered current cashflow and enrollment projections for the 2024-25 school year. The facilities report provided updates on site maintenance including brush removal, equipment procurement for walkie-talkies, the repair of the mass notification system, and pending projects for parking lot improvement. Additionally, the board approved the Axios contract renewal.
