The City of Entiat's Community Vision Plan outlines a strategic direction to foster a thriving, economically vibrant, and connected community, particularly focusing on the business district along SR 97A. Key pillars include economic development and business growth, infrastructure enhancement, increased recreation and community spaces, improved safety and law enforcement, and cultural and environmental preservation. The plan aims to create a cohesive downtown identity, enhance pedestrian and vehicular connectivity to the waterfront and neighborhoods, and establish Entiat as a dynamic destination blending natural beauty with thoughtful, sustainable development.

The commission reviewed the purpose and funding of the planner's work related to the Comprehensive Plan. During the new business segment, an overview of commissioner requirements was provided, and interviews were conducted for open committee positions, leading to the selection of two new commissioners. An executive session was held regarding these appointments. Additionally, the commission addressed the resignation of an existing member, received a progress update on the Comprehensive Plan review, and collaborated on revisions to the Housing Capital Facilities section of the plan.

The agenda includes the review and approval of various payables, including council warrants, manual and EFT payments, and payroll. The council will receive reports from community development, public works, the mayor, and the Chamber of Commerce. Action items for consideration include the approval of the LocalTel Telecommunication Service Agreement and the adoption of Ordinance 2026-923, which amends the 2026 budget.
