The Grandview ISD District of Innovation Plan aims to secure exemptions from specific Texas Education Code provisions to achieve greater local control and flexibility. Key areas of focus include school start dates, educator certification, probationary contracts, student-teacher ratios, transfer student policies, and retire/rehire minimum salaries. New exemptions are also sought for the length of the school day, school district depositories contracts, and grievance policy, all designed to empower the district to innovate and tailor educational programming to local community needs.

This Campus Improvement Plan for Grandview Jr. High School serves as a roadmap to enhance student performance, ensure a highly qualified and supported staff, and cultivate a safe and conducive learning environment.
