The Governing Board received a sabbatical report on women in Islamic literature and conducted a study session regarding the district's emergency preparedness. Several agreements were approved, including contracts for preschool services, the CalTeach Initiative, flexible spending account administration, and youth programs. Additionally, the Board authorized out-of-state field trips for students, approved the 2009-10 Associated Students' budgets, authorized the establishment of a new fund in the County treasury for the Other Post-Employment Benefits Irrevocable Trust, and adopted the 2010-11 academic calendar.
