The Board held a meeting to discuss organizational updates, including the resignation of a board director and an agenda review. A significant portion of the meeting focused on a presentation regarding educational services at the Servu campus. The Board considered a proposal to rename several programs on this campus to create a cohesive 'Aspen Grove Education Center' and reduce academic stigma for students on their transcripts. The discussion covered the various programs provided, including those for students in juvenile detention, mental health recovery, and long-term behavioral rehabilitation. Additionally, the Board discussed student capacity, staffing strategies across multiple environments, career technical education initiatives, and the importance of maintaining an uninterrupted continuum of care for students.
