The South Ogden City Center Master Plan is a comprehensive strategy to transform the suburban commercial area into a vibrant, walkable, mixed-use district, serving as the city's heart. It focuses on several key pillars: fostering development and revitalization through new housing, local businesses, and a strong civic core; enhancing mobility and circulation with a multimodal transportation network; and defining community character through well-designed buildings, welcoming public spaces, and distinct identity. The plan emphasizes creating a Central Civic Plaza, a pedestrian-priority Kiesel Avenue, and improving Washington Boulevard, aiming to attract residents and visitors and promote long-term economic growth.
