The Council conducted public hearings regarding a request for a right-of-way vacation on 9th Street and a request for a special use permit for an apartment/multi-family development on Avenue P. Both requests were supported by the Planning and Zoning Commission and subsequently approved by the Council through the adoption of ordinances. The Council also approved the purchase of stainless steel replacement parts for the 35' Spiraflo Clarifier at the Waste Water Plant at a cost of $19,773.00. No action was taken regarding the salary for the Police Chief or the re-evaluation of a new Police Vehicle purchase.
