The City of Adamsville's Storm Water Management Program Plan serves as a roadmap for complying with the MS4 Individual Phase I Permit and aims to reduce pollutant discharge to the maximum extent practicable. The plan focuses on several key program elements: storm water collection system operations, public education and involvement, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction and post-construction storm water runoff control, spill prevention and response, pollution prevention/good housekeeping for municipal operations, application of pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers, oils/toxics/household hazardous waste control, and industrial storm water runoff. The overarching goal is to effectively manage storm water runoff, prevent pollution, and protect waterways within the city's jurisdictional boundary.
