City of Carrollton Council Council Meeting
The Council reviewed and approved financial statements and accounts payable. Legislative actions included the first reading of an ordinance to amend the code of ordinances regarding chapter sections and the adoption of resolutions to appoint a designated agent for FEMA processes and to close bank accounts. Appointments were made to the Main Street Board. A presentation was given regarding the Kentucky Grant Pool Program. The Council approved a request for the Carrollton River Rod Run car show. Department reports were provided, and property abatement recommendations from the Code Enforcement Board were accepted. The Mayor provided updates on municipal projects including City Hall renovations and future municipal events.
