Planning Commission Minutes
The Planning Commission discussed the Zoning Administrator's report, which included updates on land split applications and property code enforcement activities. The commission approved updates to the planning commission by-laws. New business items included an initial discussion on zoning ordinances regarding front yard fences, agreement on changes for mobile home hardscape requirements, and the scheduling of a public hearing for zoning ordinance updates. Additionally, information was provided regarding the contract with the Northeast Michigan Council of Governments for comprehensive zoning code updates, funded by a grant from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
