The Board of Trustees conducted a regular meeting to address several key items. The session included an executive meeting to deliberate on personnel hiring, resignations, and the employment contract for the High School Principal, all of which were subsequently approved. The Superintendent provided an update on STAAR accountability. The Board approved several policy updates, including general updates, new regulations for prekindergarten students of district employees, and revised policies for EpiPen and Albuterol administration. Additionally, the Board approved the procurement of Edgenuity Online for DAEP and credit recovery. The district audit report for safety and security was postponed to a future meeting. The Board also carried out a consent agenda covering financial reports, budget amendments, and a quarterly investment report.
