The 2023-2026 Strategic Plan for the Academy for Jewish Religion California (AJRCA) focuses on five key areas: ensuring financial sustainability, transitioning to a nationally and internationally acclaimed seminary, strengthening AJRCA's governance, improving internal and external communications and marketing, and defining the AJRCA/LMU partnership. The plan aims to achieve financial stability through balanced budgets, increased enrollment, scholarship funds, and endowment creation. It seeks to enhance AJRCA's reputation through curriculum development, improved graduate placement, and alumni engagement. Governance will be strengthened by clarifying board functions, updating bylaws, and establishing clear policies and procedures. Improved communication strategies will raise AJRCA's profile. Finally, the plan outlines the development of a robust partnership with LMU, including joint degree programs and collaborative initiatives. The overall goal is to position AJRCA as a leading institution for training 21st-century Jewish professionals and thought leaders.
