The City Council meeting addressed concerns from residents regarding discolored water, with the Mayor and council members encouraging citizens to report issues directly to the city for investigation rather than posting on social media, while noting that some instances may be due to water heater sediment. The Council also held a second consideration for the Sienna Hills PUD amendment, discussing sideyard setbacks and potentially limiting the percentage of lots that can use five-foot setbacks. Finally, the Council approved a grant agreement for flood property buyouts and an administrative acquisition plan for properties on Southeast Second Street, noting the project's historical context and funding structure involving federal, state, and local contributions.
