The Council conducted a public hearing regarding the rezoning of property on Broad River Road from general commercial to general commercial with conditions. The committee discussed planning for the 2025 Christmas Parade, including potential rules and partnerships, and provided an update on the Chili Cook-off event. An after-action review of the 2024 Trunk or Treat event identified improvements for future years. The committee voted to recommend a $25,000 Boardr Skating Event to the Town Council, noting sponsorship efforts and logistics. Additionally, the committee explored the concept of a 2025 holiday vendor market and received a presentation regarding an upcoming Spring concert series, including proposed dates and musical acts.
