This document outlines the mission and goals for the Nuclear Medicine Technology Education Program at West Virginia University Hospitals. The program's mission is to equip students with a solid educational foundation in both didactic and clinical components to become professionally competent registered nuclear medicine technologists. It aims to expand their knowledge in the utilization of radioactive materials for therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, encompassing technical, professional, and philosophical aspects of Nuclear Medicine Technology. Key goals for students include demonstrating clinical competence, practicing effective communication skills, employing critical thinking/problem-solving skills, exhibiting professional behavior, and integrating professional growth and development practices.

This strategic plan for the West Virginia University Health System aims to improve the health of West Virginians through excellence in patient care, research, and education. Its 2035 aspiration is to become a clinically integrated system delivering full-spectrum, easily accessible, and seamless healthcare. The plan is organized around four key pillars: offering a complete and integrated continuum of care, being an exceptional place to work and practice, delivering superior access, care, and experiences, and becoming the national leader in rural population health management.

The 2022 Community Health Implementation Plan for Grant Memorial Hospital focuses on four strategic areas: continuing support programs for individuals with substance use and abuse, expanding oncology services to offer survivorship and cessation programs, providing healthy Saturday blood screening events with A1C, and supporting community-sponsored events to improve mental wellness. The plan outlines specific initiatives such as the 'Reverse the Cycle' program, establishing a Cancer Center, implementing a smoking cessation program, and offering monthly blood screening events.

This Community Health Needs Assessment for J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, conducted in 2025, identifies key health priorities for its service area, Monongalia and Marion counties. In accordance with Affordable Care Act requirements, the assessment details prioritized needs including Obesity and Co-Morbid Chronic Disease, Substance Abuse and Mental Health, and Cancer. The findings will guide the development of a Community Health Improvement Plan to address these issues and enhance community wellbeing.

This Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for St. Joseph's Hospital, conducted in 2025, identifies key health priorities for the community. It serves as a roadmap for developing a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) and focuses on three primary areas: Substance Use, Abuse, and Mental Health; Chronic Disease and Management; and Access to Care and Transportation. The assessment aims to guide future actions to improve community health outcomes.
