The board discussed and approved awards for the first round of the Community Grants Reinvestment Fund, with amendments made to explicitly include harm reduction and substance use disorder as priorities. Criteria for the second round of grant funding were also reviewed and approved, featuring a new bifurcated applicant pool to support smaller organizations. Furthermore, the meeting addressed proposed regulations for packaging, labeling, marketing, and advertising, and considered multiple requests regarding applications with non-viable locations and public convenience and advantage. Additionally, an advisory opinion concerning local municipal laws was issued, and the Board rendered decisions on two administrative appeals involving unlicensed cannabis activity.
